I took Ella to pick out some new flowers and plants with me on Sunday. We brought them home and planted them together while Emma napped.
Ella loved digging in the planters to prepare the soil!
She helped me place each Pansy in the planter.
Time for some watering
Here's what we planted...
Ella picked the pink flowers on the right. The others I suggested to her and she approved, but these were her favorite.
We found some wild strawberries in one of the existing planters, so we decided to try planting some of our own and also a couple of tomatoe plants.
No project in the backyard is complete without a drink from the hose. :-)
