Ella's Second Christmas

Christmas Eve setup
Christmas Morning Videos:

She recognized the changing table and wipes container right away and began changing her doll's diaper.

A guest, already!

Taking cupcakes out of the oven

Feeding her new doll

Ella LOVES her little cottage and played in it almost the entire day!

"Hey, there's a cat on the roof!"

Ella's new bike from Gramma and Grandpa... she figured out the bell right away.

Delighted with ringing the bell

Out for a ride with Daddy... she doesn't quite get how to peddle yet, but she did put her feet on the peddles. Daddy can push and steer with the parent bar in the back.

Opening her present from Auntie Joy and Uncle Nate.

She liked the ribbon on the gift too!

Cool Alphabet Winnie-the-Pooh books! Thanks, Auntie Joy and Uncle Nate! They're awesome! Ella immediately recognized the Pooh characters and now she'll have a great way to start learning her letters.

Ella distributed the cats' stocking stuffers.

The cats having a very merry Christmas with their homemade nip toys!

Unstuffing the stocking

Time for a chocolate break :-)

New Little One On The Way

Had an ultrasound done this afternoon and got to see the little embryo and heartbeat! I'm about 6 1/2 weeks pregnant. The due date is August 10th, 2010.

Baking Gingerbread Cookies

I set Ella up with play dough and her kitchen set so that she could "make cookies" along side Mama.

Decorating - I got a couple started to give her the idea.

Time to sample :-)

This was her favorite. She called him a "horsey" and played with him for awhile.

More sampling :-)

Pump It Up With Daddy

Sead had a few days off this week so one of the things we did is take Ella to Pump It Up.

She had so much fun and Daddy got a workout!

"Come on Daddy! Keep up!"

Toddler Christmas Party

Ella and I hosted a Toddler Christmas party at our place.

We decorated some wooden ornaments (with WASHABLE crayons, markers, and glitter glue).

I also made red and green play-dough so the kids could shape some ornaments and let them dry.

Ella working on her masterpieces.

Shannon... looks like she needed a booster. :-)

Yum!!! "Cakies"

Ella thoroughly enjoyed the cupcakes and cookies.

We temporarily moved the dining room table to the sun room to create a larger ornament making area.

We had a great turn out (about 10 toddlers) and everyone seemed to have a great time.

Holiday Lights at Gilroy Gardens

We took Ella to Gilroy Garden's Holiday Lights last night.

Having fun riding the goldfish

She loves this light-saber!

Her hands got really cold, so I picked up a pair of mittens for her. She refused to wear them until we got home. I guess the trick is to get them on her before her hands get cold.

They had a couple of spots where they generated falling snow flakes. Ella was amazed by that!

Riding the cars - the track was decorated with the 12 Days of Christmas
