New Year's Eve 2012

Starting at 5 PM this New Year's Eve Ella got to pop a balloon on each hour until midnight. Inside each balloon there was a note with an activity to do that hour.

The first activity, baking cookies - Ella got to pick cookies or brownies and the chips to be used. She decided to go with both girls' favorite, Chocolate Chip.

The girls' favorite activity was the scavenger hunt. I used photos of different spots in our house. Each time they found a new spot it would have a picture leading them to a different spot until the 12th, which led them to a surprise in our hamper. :-)

Ella did a great job including her little sister in the hunt!

 

 

 

Christmas Presents For Our Piglet

 Be brought Bailey a carrot (his favorite) on Christmas evening and a present for him that Ella picked out.

Ella helped him open it. He started chewing on his new tunnel and playing in it right away. :-)

The Calico's Christmas

Snook loved all the boxes left on the screen porch. It's her Christmas wonderland out there!

 

Every Christmas I make the cats nip pouches. I gave the boys their pouches in their heated beds. Snook played with hers in the house.

Ella was the first up and headed down in her night time pull-up. :-) She was thrilled to see the Butterscotch pony waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs!

Emy loves to feed anyone and everyone, so it wasn't too surprising that her first action with her new pony was to feed her the carrot. :-) Ella was so excited to get a kids' camera. She dropped our small Cannon camera a few months ago and broke the lens. Mama's doesn't let her touch the Nikon!

 Emy loves SpongeBob and was thrilled to find SpongeBob Squinkies in her stocking! The chocolate was her second favorite find this year. :-)

 They both got little Tiaras in their stockings.

Emma saw this Mickey Mouse car wash at the Disney store a few months ago and was so enthralled with it. She was so happy to find one under the tree!

Minnie Mouse mini board books for our little book baby! 

This is Ella's favorite puppet in the Story Book Forest at Marbles Kid's Museum, so I ordered it for her for Christmas. It's a Folkmanis rat puppet.

Emma LOVES the Bubble Guppies! They just came out with these soft dolls of a few of the characters. She slept with them in her crib last night (Christmas night) and brought them down this morning to watch Bubble Guppies with her. 

Emy is also a big fan of Umizoomi. She's learning a lot about math, shapes, and patterns from the show. Now she has figures to play with too. 

Thank you for the Minnie Mouse cash register, Auntie Joy, Uncle Nate, Grant and Kate! Emma loves it! She especially loves that it has a key to open the register drawer!
