Birthday Surprise from Gramma & Papa!

Gramma & Papa sent Emy a huge surprise for her birthday!

She'd seen this castle in the store and really like it, so she recognized it right away and was super excited. :-)

She LOVES it! Thank you, Gramma & Papa!

Emy's Birthday - July 30th

On Emy's actual birthday, Tuesday, July 30th, I set up a scavenger hunt for the girls that led them to a surprise gift.

They LOVE scavenger hunts and follow each picture to the next destination (usually about 12 locations).

Finding the surprise in their bath tub!

Presents from Auntie Joy, Uncle Nate, Grant & Kate!

Emy's 3rd Birthday

We celebrated Emy's birthday a couple of days early so we'd have Daddy home with us for the celebration.

Ella and I decorated this cake with sand (brown sugar) and water (blue frosting) to make it a Dora beach cake. :-)

She loves her new baby doll and baby 3-in-1 crib.

 A vacuum just like Mama's!

Children's Museum in Winston-Salem

We've been wanting to visit Winston-Salem (about 2 hours away). Of course, with young kids it's best to find something to do with them there.

Ella loved this huge weaved net and spent a lot of time climbing around in it.

Emy couldn't make it very far, but enjoyed hanging out at the bottom.

In the Three Bears cabin, I believe she's in Mama Bear's bed. :-)

The girls found the Three Bears in a drawer and Ella set them up on their chairs and read a story to them.

After the story, Ella tucked each of the Bears into their bed.
