The Girls and Snowy

The girls have had so much fun with Snowy. We're not really suppose to touch her, but I told them it would be okay as long as they're really gentle. :-)

Snowball Fight with an Extra Player

Snowy the Elf and friends having a snowball fight

Apparently, they have an extra player.

I'll have to make sure there are some snowballs left in the morning. LOL!

Christmas Lights

Holly Spring's Main Street Christmas

Chick-fil-A was entertaining the line to see Santa this year.

Emy was more excited to see the Chick-fil-A cow than she was to see Santa. :-)

After talking to Emily, Santa's helper elf, Emy decided she'd talk to Santa after all.

Thanksgiving Homeschool Presentation

Several of us from the Homeschoolers of Holly Springs group got together Wednesday at the park to give our kids a chance to present something they find interesting about Thanksgiving. Ella's favorite part of Thanksgiving is the food, so she researched what the Indians and Pilgrims ate at their first feast together to compare and contrast it to what we eat now on Thanksgiving Day.

Both girls dressed in their Pocahontas dresses.

 Emy was a great assistant!

Ella spoke so well with a clear, loud voice and great information on the food eaten at the first Indian-Pilgrim feast. It's great to see her so confident now, hardly any shyness left. :-)
