Enjoying Some Sun

I've taken Ella out to the park the last couple of days to enjoy the break from the rain. Daddy's on an eleven day business trip, so we're doing what we can to keep busy and distracted.

Sleepy Girl

Ella's been taking a long nap (almost 3 hours) lately. She's not sleeping well at night, so she's quite tired by mid day.

Stuffed Animals

Ella loves her stuffed animals! She'll grab three at once to hug and carry around. :-)

Crayons

I got out some washable crayons for Ella to explore this weekend.

She doesn't quite know what they are for but thought they were very interesting.

She did discover that they will leave a mark if pounded on the tray. :-)

Visiting the Bookstore

Ella loves to visit Barnes & Noble.

Ice Cream?

We took Ella out for ice cream for the first time.

She was mostly interested in getting her hands into it.

She took a few bites, but seemed to think it was too cold. :-)

The Blue Tunnel!

We've had this tunnel for almost 4 months. Ella liked to watch Snook play in it, but wouldn't crawl into it herself. Last night she crawled through it for the first time and has crawled through it several times today. :-)

It helped that Daddy was on one end and Mama was at the other.

Snook has been enjoying the tunnel ever since we brought it home. :-)

Firetruck Ball Pit

Ella has been climbing and jumping on anything she can reach, so we looked for something that would allow her to stretch her legs a bit indoors when it's raining. This Firetruck ball pit is the perfect outlet for all that toddler energy.

The vinyl creates a little static which makes her hair stand up a bit. :-)

Ella's New Learning Home

We just got Ella this Laugh & Learn home after she played on it for over an hour at a friend's house.

She loves the mailbox.

She also loves to go through the door.
