Princess Shoes

Ella's going through that toddler stage where they love shoes. I picked up these princess dress up shoes for her today since I hate for her to play with our nasty outdoor shoes. :-) Plus, they're just so cute!

She loves them!

I don't put the elastic band around her ankle because she has trouble taking them off if I do.

Ahhh... so pretty!

Much better than Daddy's tennis shoes

Ella's First Swim Lesson

Ella had her first swim lesson yesterday evening.

She liked being in the water right away.

We're doing "semi-private" lessons, so there's one other little girl in the pool with us.

She liked catching the toys.

Ponytail

Ella's hair is getting so long. I just had to try a ponytail. :-)

She actually left it in. I took it out after taking these pictures so we wouldn't lose the ponytail holder in the house somewhere. :-)

Enjoying My Books

Ella is enjoying her books this morning!

You can never have too many books to choose from. ;-)

Mouse's First Valentines Day, a favorite!

Roaring Camp Railroads & Henry Coe Redwoods

We went to Roaring Camp Railroads and the Henry Coe Redwoods today. It was the perfect day, not too crowded and the weather was great.

Ella, traveling in style!

I love these pictures I got of Ella in front of these beautiful flowers.

Smelling a flower :-)

Exploring with Daddy

Daddy's so silly :-)

Ella wanted to stick her head all the way through and look around.

Chasing birds

Ella loved this little barn!

Watching a group of dancers (German folk dance)

Walking through the Redwoods

She had a little energy left to run down the Redwood path for awhile.

Ella loved watching the train! It was so loud though that Mama had to cover her ears a few times.

Eating Cupcakes with Daddy

Ella enjoyed eating the frosting off this cupcake from today's baby shower.
She was trying to smear some on daddy's chin too. :-)
