The girls and I finally made it out to the zoo on what was most likely the last mid-70s day this summer.
A little too bright for Emy
The girls love the new children's exploration area. They thought the stream was the best!
This butterfly actually let both girls touch it.
This tree bridge is not 100% complete yet, but the girls loved climbing up this ramp to the look-out.

The new bug exhibit. It's similar to the dinosaur animatrons, but with all insects and arachnids.
This Bombardier Beetle sprays water. Ella loves it, but Emy won't go near it.

The carousel! Ella loves to spin herself.
We saw a short Rio animation in 4D (i.e. moving seats, air blowing, scents, etc.).
