Picture from Ella's Performance

Here's a picture from Ella's dance show yesterday that a friend took for us. This is at the very end of the show when they brought all the kids out for final applause and to be collected by their parents. She (and some of the other kids) were pretty tired and fussy at this point, but she did so well during her performance. She wasn't nervous at all and got most of the moves right. Most importantly she looked like (and told us later that) she had fun.

We couldn't take any flash photos during the performance and my camera wouldn't have taken any good pictures at that distance anyway, but we will have a DVD of the entire performance and the professional photos taken at the rehearsal.

Ella's Dress Rehearsal

Ella had dress rehearsal today for her tap performance. She was so excited about getting up on the stage. Now I'm not as nervous about tomorrow's performance seeing how much Ella enjoyed herself today. ;-)

Monterey Bay Aquarium with Papa, Gramma, and GJ

We made a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium on Wednesday with Gramma, Papa, and GJ. The girls both had a wonderful time!

 Eels! The last time we saw these eels Ella wouldn't even touch them. This time she ran right for them and played with them for awhile.

Emma is 10 Months Old!

Emma turned 10 months old yesterday! She's crawling, cruising, and standing on her own now.

 It's getting harder to get photos of her facing the camera now that she's so mobile!

Our 5th Wedding Anniversary

Yesterday was our 5th wedding anniversary. The four of us went to Maggiano's at Santana Row to celebrate.

 Emma has a cold, so she's looking a bit tired. :-(

 We bought this bottle of wine on our honeymoon, touring Beringer Winery. We had planned to open it on our first anniversary, but I was already about 5 weeks pregnant with Ella. Our 5 year anniversary seemed like a good year to open it.

Dessert at home - We had French Melting Cakes with ice cream. Sead bought me roses. :-)

Chuck E. Cheese

I took the girls to Chuck E. Cheese today. It's so nice and quiet there in the mornings with school still in session.

A motorcycle simulator... not that she'll ever be allowed to ride one in real life while I have a say. ;-) 

 Riding a fire truck together - Ella loves when Emma can join her on a ride and shows me when there's room for her.
