Dinner at Cinderella's Castle

This was the night that we stayed for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so the girls were ready with their trick-or-treat buckets.

Duke Lemur Center

We had a field trip today with our Homeschool group to the Duke Lemur Center in Durham. They have the largest collection of captive lemurs in the world. http://lemur.duke.edu/

 I'm hidden a bit in this photo, but if you look closely you'll see half of me in a blue shirt with a black and white backpack, holding Emy. Ella is next to the fence looking into the cage, but you can only see the top of her head. :-) It's so green and beautiful there!

 Love this lemur pose! He's soaking up the sun to help his digestion. :-)

 The girls had a great time and came home with a lemurs of their own and lemur tails and ears to wear.

Millstone Creek Orchards

We visited an apple orchard in Ramseur last Friday. The girls had a great time learning about apples and even getting some hands on experience.

First Day of School

Today was Ella's first day of Kindergarten and Emy's first "official" day of Preschool. I'm homeschooling both of them, but Ella did have a Reading Adventures class at our library today and they both have Science Safari classes on Thursdays.
