I've been planning this Halloween Costume Party for over a month. Ella is really into Halloween this year. She's recognizing the themes and really enjoying the holiday, so it's the perfect year to throw a Halloween party for her and her friends.
Princess Ella or Cinderella? :-) She was so thrilled with her costume, which she saw for the first time this afternoon (about an hour before the party). Cinderella is her favorite princess right now.

These are special cupcakes made by Ella's cousin, Merima and her friend Danira for the party. Merima and Danira have just started a cupcake business.
The ghosts are lollipops covered in white fondant. The pumpkins were sculpted out of fondant as well and looked so realistic.
The cupcakes are chocolate with a peanut butter filling and milk chocolate frosting! Mmmmm! They were really good!

It was a little challenging for the kids being blindfolded, but they had fun.
Bowling for Ghosts - I got this idea online. You take a kid's bowling pin set and put tissue on the pins and draw faces to make ghosts of them. The kids really liked this game!

Ella, decorating her little pumpkin - Gia supplied this craft. She wasn't able to make it due to illness, but Brian dropped by to bring us the craft anyway. Thanks so much, Gia and Brian! Hope you're feeling better soon!
Ella, sticking a nose on the pumpkin - Or is that an eye? ;-) I had the kids play this one without blindfolds. It was cute to see where they decided to stick their pumpkin "nose".
Emma, in her favorite "hang-out", the Baby Bjorn - She really enjoyed watching the kids and the activities.

Strawing for Spiders - I got this idea online as well. You fill a cauldron with spider rings and then have the kids try to fish them out with a straw. It's harder than it seems, but a lot of fun.

wow what a cute party! i think i say this every time you have a party but i wish we lived closer so we could come to your parties!! and those cupcakes are super super cute!!
