Several of us from the Homeschoolers of Holly Springs group got together Wednesday at the park to give our kids a chance to present something they find interesting about Thanksgiving. Ella's favorite part of Thanksgiving is the food, so she researched what the Indians and Pilgrims ate at their first feast together to compare and contrast it to what we eat now on Thanksgiving Day.
Both girls dressed in their Pocahontas dresses.
Emy was a great assistant!
Ella spoke so well with a clear, loud voice and great information on the food eaten at the first Indian-Pilgrim feast. It's great to see her so confident now, hardly any shyness left. :-)
