We've been so busy settling into our new home that we haven't had much time to explore the area, but Sunday we decided it was time to take a break and head to Ganyard Hill Farm. They have all kinds of fall activities there and the girls had a wonderful time!
Climbing on the haystack slide and tunnel
Coming out of the slide - I think Ella went down the slide about 50 times while we were there. :-)
Corn shucking
Emma, exploring the corn shuckers
Feeding the shucked corn to the goats
In one of the pumpkin fields
Emma found her own pumpkin and was quite thrilled with it.
Picking cotton
On the hayride
View from the hayride
In the corn maze
Harvesting some corn with Daddy
We each got to pick our own pumpkin straight from the vine.
They call this the "Corn Crib". It's a whole bunch of dry corn that the kids have a blast playing in.
Emma loved the Corn Crib too!
At the back of the Corn Crib there are tubes with holes in them so you can feed the cows some corn.
Emma loves cows and was so excited to see the real ones and these!
"Milking" a cow (it's just water in those imitation cow utters)
Ella, running in and out of the hay maze
Petting "Cotton", the bunny, on the way out
Entrance to the farm store
