Breakfast

Getting Ella to eat breakfast in her high chair can be a challenge. I have to keep her entertained if I want to spoon anything into her mouth. I usually alternate toys, but today I tried the crayons. She loved making marks on the tray and ate her whole breakfast with no complaints.

She's also expanding her vocabulary. She's learned "no", although so far she only uses it to confirm "no - nos" not to tell me "no" yet. Yesterday, she and I were playing with her doll house and I asked her if the queen (from her castle set) had come over for tea. When she heard me say tea she went across the room and brought back her teapot and a cup.
